The VFR goggles are a smaller version of our original OTE (Over The Eyeglasses) goggles. We created the original in the 1970s to satisfy the demands of a growing sky diving population who couldn't enjoy the view while they were jumping. This new design is large enough to fit over most any pair of eyeglasses yet it's small enough to work with helmets including most, if not all, bicycle helmets. It has small vent holes in the top to help prevent fogging.

All orders ship by the following business day.

Excellent Goggles

These OTG tinted goggles have worked very well for me. I ride gravel roads in the Flint Hills of Kansas. Most recently, I rode the 2021 Bleeding Kansas Gravelduro Ride/Race, a 75-mile gravel loop out of Manhattan, KS. The goggles cut out all side glare, which other regular over-the-glasses sunglasses I've tried do not do as well, and they do an excellent job of keeping the wind from drying out my eyes. The tint has been sufficient to keep me from squinting, even when riding in full sun on white gravel roads. These goggles are lighter than any OTG sunglasses or combination of clear goggles and prescription sunglasses that I have tried before, and they have excellent visual clarity. Several other riders asked me about them during the Gravelduro, so I filled them in on where I got them, and gave them my highest recommendation. I plan to get a pair of clear OTG goggles soon for colder weather. Thanks very much!

Perfect for cold weather bike riding!

When these first arrived, my first reaction was "They're going back". They are very light weight, made of plastic and look down right "weird". They also are bent at the side which creates some minor distortion in your peripheral vision. But, they are absolutely perfect for cold weather bike riding! You barely know you have them on due to their lightness and comfortable fit. The adjustable elastic band is high quality and not noticeable when wearing. They do not fog up and totally prevent tearing in your eyes while riding fast in cold weather. the peripheral vision issue mentioned above is a non-issue when riding. They fit fairly high on your forehead which is a big plus since it keeps the top of your face warm due to the coverage. I couldn't be happier.

A Game changer!

I have worn eyeglasses all my life, as a NYC courier i can tell you it is very difficult to ride an ebike going 20pmh at 40 degrees. These are the best goggles i have tried and believe me I've tried a lot. Not only are the extremely comfortable for all day use but are very light weight. I sometimes forget I have them on...thats how clear they are. They come with a disposable fog sheet that you can use but I had no issues with fogging even with eyeglasses and mask on. They seal perfectly and with the little vent holes they work wonderfully. It is a very well made and thought design, a game changer for people that use eyeglasses and ride in very harsh temperatures/speed.Look no more. A must buy if your thinking about a lightweight/comfortable, non fogging , eyeglasses compatible goggles!

Prevents tearing eyes while biking

These are perfect for my needs. My eyes tear nonstop when I bike outside, and I've had trouble getting close-fitting prescription glasses to keep out the wind because I wear progressive lenses. I've tried several of the "fit over" type sunglasses. None of them worked for keeping the wind out of my eyes and preventing tears except these, which are more like goggles.. Yeah, I look ridiculous wearing them, but they do what I needed. Also, because of the elastic strap, they fit better under my helmet than the other kind of fit over frames that are hard plastic and have hard plastic earpiece.
