How do I find or measure my pupillary distance (PD)?
Your pupillary distance (PD) is the distance between the centers of your pupils, measured in millimeters. It’s essential for accurately crafting your prescription lenses.
If your PD isn’t listed on your prescription, you can:
- Ask your eye doctor to provide it.
- Measure it at home using a ruler and mirror (there are many guides online).
- Use a free digital tool like Luna’s PD measurement tool, which walks you through the process using your device’s camera.
We recommend using the PD from your eye care provider if possible, but home methods and tools like this can work well too.
